before running poser install, you have to set up the DB, or you screw up all your migrations and get off track. That bit me at first. Will be easy to forget as I get more comfortable with the framework.

I improved the docs as well as the installer's intro message a little, not sure what else to do for now.

Yeah this whole story could be improved. The installer currently expects you to give it "connection credentials" which aren't necessarily privileged enough to create a database; hence you must do that first.
