The :term:`handler` concept is central to the :term:`app` architecture.

|
|
|
They are analogous to "plugins" but only *one* handler is used for a
|
|
given purpose. See :doc:`arch`.
|
|
|
|
So far there is only one handler type defined; see :doc:`app`.
